Q. Why do I need to hire a planner when so many people these days DIY?

A. When people plan their own functions and weddings, often they miss important details. Small things that don’t seem as important and you don’t notice till the big day arrives and it’s too late. I have acquainted myself with many vendors, caterers, photographers and other businesses that need to be dealt with and it’s possible to get discounts for certain items and services for you. It is more stressful than people realize planning events and having to keep track of all the details. I will free you from stress and you'll enjoy a memorable  event.

Q. Can I plan most or part of the event myself and get you to take care of the stuff that I think I won’t be able to handle as well?

Q. What exactly do you do as an event and wedding planner?

A. My services include an initial consultation, locating and booking reliable vendors and venues (many times obtaining discounts for you), making payments, scheduling and preparing timelines for parties involved in your event, budget sheets, monitoring the budget, organizing and overseeing ceremony and rehearsals, providing assistance before, on the day and after your event, shopping for related items or providing them if I have them on hand, organizing the ordering of, printing and mailing announcements, invitations, RSVPs, thank you notes and all other correspondence, organizing and keeping track of guest list, making personal invitations just for you, Organizing corporate meetings, retreats, workshops, open houses, grand openings, newspaper and press release information, organizing private parties for all ages and the list goes on and on.
